After Breast Lift Surgery
After breast lift surgery, it is requested to stay in the hospital for one day for control purposes. During this period, a drain is inserted for excess blood and fluid accumulation. This drain is removed at discharge one day later. When discharged, the breasts will be covered with a special corset. For this reason, do not do activities such as heavy lifting, excessive arm movement after the surgery. You need to be careful about this for 1 month. The best exercise you can do is brisk walking.
There is no harm in taking a shower except for the first 2 days of the operation. It is generally recommended to rest for 7 days after breast lift surgery; but if you feel good and work at a desk, you can return to your work life after 3 days.
